Mending cafe on the 17th of November at @thesocialhub.eindhoven was a success!

The 2 hours just flew by and we got some good mending done and we can now enjoy our garments for longer.

Join for a cozy afternoon to mend together, learn how to make simple reparations to your garments or just ask for a help how to fix something. All skill levels are welcome!

Just bring something you would like to mend. If you can, bring also a pair of scissors, and any crafting materials you have. Basic materials will be provided.

Next Green Cafe event coming up: All you ever wanted to know about Extinction Rebellion, but were afraid to ask 🌏 (Free event, but registration is needed)

You’ve probably heard of Extinction Rebellion (often referred to as XR) in the news, whether it’s about the A12 blockade or protests at Schiphol.

But who exactly are they? What are their goals? What motivates them to take action?

What do you know about climate activism and civil disobedience?

The Green Café team is eager to find answers to these questions. If you’re interested, we invite you to join us for an event where you can hear directly from one of their members.

Regardless of whether you have positive, neutral, or negative views about their actions, this is your chance to learn more about one of the most active—and sometimes controversial—climate activist groups. Feel free to bring your questions!
