Zero waste walking tours next week 🎉

The tours will take place all over the Netherlands mostly during Week Zonder Afval (Week Without Waste) between 25th and 31st of May.

The tour in Eindhoven will be a self guided one, so you will get a map sent to your email with places for you to visit when it best suits you.

Green Cafe nature walk with IVN 🌳

On this walk you will visit the Aanschotse Beemden, a natural area in the north of Eindhoven. This area is a remnant of the old farmlands- a typical feature of the Kempen landscape, which Eindhoven and its surrounding areas are a part of. And you will see how the natural areas have changed over centuries.

📣 Call for volunteers: Would you like to volunteer your time and host or help to host a creative activity? 🌏

Are you a creative person and do you enjoy brainstorming about no-waste activities and/or do you want to give or assist no-waste workshops yourself? @fairnowaste is looking for you! You can join community centers such as De Dommel or Het Baken, or you can also start an initiative in your own neighborhood. Send an email to fairtrade.ehv@gmail.com for more information and an introductory meeting.

The core group of No Waste (Fair Trade Eindhoven Foundation) meets approximately once every two months in the Dommel community center in Gestel. Together with volunteers, @fairnowaste organizes "No Waste workshops" in various neighborhoods in Eindhoven and the surrounding area. The FairTrade Eindhoven Foundation tries to combat waste in a creative way and create awareness among adults, young people and children. They do this by for example organizing workshops for children where they make bags from fabric offcuts and a workshop for adults to make a cooking bag for energy-efficient cooking.
