A trash picking walk (June 3rd), meeting at Jungle Cafe in Eindhoven (Edisonstraat 21) at 10:00 till 11:00 with a drink afterwards. Just bring your own gloves, and we will provide the trash bags. Sing to via info@eindjegroen.nl

Come and say hello to Katja and learn about Mending Cafe and Eindje Groen. Come with some clothes you would like to repair (Katja will guide you) or learn some simple skills with the materials we will provide.

Let’s repair clothes together! Got a hole in your sock, a loose button or would you like to add some embroidery to your garment? Join Katja from Eindje Groen on this relaxed evening to mend clothes together. Learn simple ways to repair your clothes, with nothing more than a needle and a thread. Whether you’re a total beginner or have some experience, all skill levels are welcome. You just need to bring something you want to repair and a curious attitude.
Let’s celebrate mending together, give your clothes some love.
The Mending Café will be at the blue table in the library, after the info point on the left.
About the facilitator
Katja Lumme is the co-founder of Eindje Groen and also one of the climate mayors in Eindhoven. There is space to talk about mending, and other sustainability topics during this workshop.
Free admission
Everyone is welcome to join the session. To be sure of a spot, please register in advance. There are two time slots, 19:00-20:00 & 20:00-21:00.

Katja will be hosting two Mending Cafes as part of the tour, 12th and 26th of November:
12th and 26th of November, from 9:00-12:00 at the Markt in Winkelcentrum Woensel. Bring a piece of clothing (or another fabric item) that needs to be fixed, and we will work on it together ❤️
No previous experience is needed, come and see how easy it is to repair something yourself.

Katja Lumme will be hosting Mending Cafe during Dutch Design Week together with Kantamanto Social Club. @kantamantosocialclub on the 25th of October, from 12:00-16:00 at Klokgebouw (Eindhoven)
Come and drop by to mend together, feel free to bring an item with you that would like to repair or decorate with embroidery, let’s chat and have fun ❤️
The workshop is free for everyone, but you will need to have the DDW ticket to enter Klokgebouw.

Extra event during Week Zonder Afval!
Next week will be Week Zonder Afval (week without waste) and we will host another Mending cafe.
What is the idea behind a mending cafe? You will learn simple ways for repairs and get inspired during this event. All levels welcome! Just bring something that needs mending (for example a shirt, jeans, socks) and Katja will help you to repair your item.
When: 23rd of May
Time: 13:00-15:00 (drop by when it suits you and stay as long as you like)

On the last day of the “Week without Waste”, Green Café and Troep Troopers Eindhoven join forces for a fun clean up action in Tongelre!
