Mending Cafes at the Eindhoven library this y<\/strong>ear<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The next Mending cafe is already next week! 7th of August we gather again, starting from 19:00. You can see all the upcoming dates from this link: https:\/\/dbre.op-shop.nl\/2441\/mending-cafe<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other dates this year will be 29th of August (The opening of the cultural season, Mending Cafe will be there from 14:00-16:00, no need to sign up), 2nd of October, and 4th of December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As usual, the events are free, but do sing up so Katja knows how many people to expect. Just bring yourself and something to repair, material are provided, all skill levels welcome! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Week without waste \/ Week zonder afval<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Week without waste (Week zonder afval) is happening in June (1st till the 7th of June) . In Eindhoven there will be also events happening in already at the last weekend of May too. You can see the Eindhoven agenda here<\/a> and the agenda for the whole Netherlands here <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next edition of Mending Cafe will be on the 6th of March<\/strong>, at the Eindhoven library (Emmasingel 22,
5611AZ Eindhoven). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s repair clothes together! Got a hole in your sock, a loose button or would you like to add some embroidery to your garment? Join Katja from Eindje Groen<\/a> on this relaxed evening to mend clothes together. Learn simple ways to repair your clothes, with nothing more than a needle and a thread. Whether you\u2019re a total beginner or have some experience, all skill levels are welcome. You just need to bring something you want to repair and a curious attitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s celebrate mending together, give your clothes some love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mending Caf\u00e9 will be at the blue table in the library, after the info point on the left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the facilitator<\/strong>
Katja Lumme is the co-founder of Eindje Groen<\/a> and also one of the climate mayors in Eindhoven. There is space to talk about mending, and other sustainability topics during this workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Normaalste Zaak van Eindhoven is doing a tour in November! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the idea behind a mending cafe? You will learn simple ways for repairs and get inspired during this event. All levels welcome! Just bring something that needs mending (for example a shirt, jeans, socks) and Katja will help you to repair your item. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the last day of the “Week without Waste”, Green Caf\u00e9 and Troep Troopers Eindhoven join forces for a fun clean up action in Tongelre!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Litter is not only an eyesore – it pollutes our living environment, threatens animals and rarely disappears by itself. That is why cleaning up litter is useful! But cleaning up together yields many more advantages than just a clean neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
